Thank you for considering Memory Keeper Photography for your South Jersey Newborn Photography Session. Memory Keeper Photography truly embraces a boutique sensibility, as we desire to capture your baby's innocence, through our eyes! Our sessions help document this special moment in your life, so you can look back and remember just how tiny your baby was. This session is held in the first 10-14 days of life. It is very important to try to capture them while they are in sleepy mode. This aids us in posing and getting those precious first smiles. We have everything you need at the studio from custom bows, outfits, hats, booties, and posers. You are more than welcome to bring a few of your own personal items as well. We only photograph Newborns Monday through Friday at 10am, no exceptions. In our experience, 10am seems to be the best time for Newborns. Have more questions? Frequently Asked Questions
When should I book my session?- Typically, I will have Mom or Dad call or text me from the hospital once baby is born. This way we can get you in and scheduled the first 7-14 days of life!
Where do the sessions take place?- Our beautiful studio is located in Historic Woodstown, New Jersey. We have a special room just for newborns! In light of the Covid 19 pandemic, we are taking the health and safety of you and your baby very seriously. All clothing, props and surfaces are sterilized after every session. Only one family will be in the studio per day.
Do I need to bring any props or outfits? - Not at all! We have everything you need, from wraps to blankets, baby beds, baskets, boxes and more! However, if you have something specific or personal that you would like to bring, feel free!
What should we wear?- I recommend keeping with the same color scheme. White, black, grey, pinks and blues all photograph beautifully. Please try to avoid patterns, shapes, or any loud bright colors.
What if my newborn gets hungry during our session?- This is very common...we strongly encourage you to nurse, bring extra bottles and a pacifier if used. Don't forget diapers, but we have those too!
What happens after the session?- If you get the Sweet Bundle, approximately 5-7 days post session, I will reach out to schedule our in person viewing appointment. We will have drinks and snacks available for you, where together, we will preview your gallery, and you will have the opportunity to place your order for products. Your USB of images will be available for you at the preview session. Products can be shipped directly to you if you wish.
