Highlights from the Cherry Blossom Photoshoot in Philadelphia, PA

The blooming of the cherry blossom tree’s in Philadelphia is an event that is anticipated yearly, by many. The Japanese Government gave 1,600 flowering trees, including cherry trees, to Philadelphia in 1926 in honor of the 150th anniversary of American Independence. Now, 92 years later, Philadelphians and those of the tri-state area, enjoy these quick blooming trees each year!

Despite the crowds, the Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival and the families enjoying a peaceful picnic under the blooming trees, these are among my favorite sessions. Our families are always in awe as they walk under the fluffy pink aromatic trees.

Peter Pan Themed First Birthday & Cake Smash

I always get excited when clients are enthusiastic in theming and planning a session in my South Jersey Photography Studio. It makes the photos that much more amazing. Robin had a vision of her son’s first birthday session, and together, we brought it to LIFE! With a little imagination and some pixie dust, we made it happen! South Jersey Newborn and Baby Photographer

 

During that first year, babies change so much and very quickly. That is why we absolutely love the first year package. Capturing all those adorable milestones is definitely something most parents treasure forever! First smiles, rolling over, sitting up, laughing on demand, to walking! You blink and your baby is off to high school!! It happens all so fast!

Baby Mia had loads of smiles for us last week during her session. She certainly captivated Lisa and I, and together, we were able to capture some really great shots of her!

Meeting rising artists, and having the chance to capture headshots for them, is always a highlight in my business. I love working with talented beings, and Ronald Braxton is no exception. Ronald is a local Salem County resident who is making his mark in the entertainment industry. He was very warm and quite a pleasure to work with! Our mission was to grab a few quick headshots for him to use for an upcoming audition. I loved the results! Michele + Joshua’s South Jersey Engagement Session

 

I have had the great pleasure of watching Michele flourish into the beautiful young woman she is today! I first met Michele while photographing her senior portraits and then had the joy of watching her continue on through college, and graduate with a nursing degree. Recently, Michele reached out to inform me of her engagement to Josh, and asked me to photograph their engagement session. This is the amazing part of being a “Life” photographer. I have the pleasure of watching life happen and I’ll tell ya, it’s pretty cool!

In their eight years together, Michele and Josh take frequent walks at the Estuary on Money Island Road, in Salem, and asked if I could go out there for their session. Since I absolutely love photographing sessions at new locations, I jumped all over it! Very pretty spot, with lots of wildlife!

I’m looking forward to potentially photographing their 2020 wedding! <3
